Rezas

From its base in Odense on the Danish island of Funen, Rezas works to produce rugs that will last a lifetime. For Reza Rejaye, the company’s founder, a rug should certainly be a thing of visual appeal that brings comfort to the home, but it should also be robust and reliably long-lasting. To achieve this combination of attributes, time-tested weaving, dyeing and construction techniques underpin every Rezas piece. Add in the skill of Indian craftspeople, and the result is an embodiment of the Scandinavian design ethos: a marriage of beauty and functionality.

One of the first things you’ll notice about a Rezas rug is the quality of the wool. Fibres are appreciated for their distinctive characteristics, be that strength, softness or pliability. They’re chosen to complement the mood of each design. Of course, wool doesn’t just look and feel outstanding, it’s also a hard worker. Its integral elasticity ensures the rugs wear exceptionally well, while its natural oils repel stains.
