Lindform
The elegant understatement of Scandinavian design is executed with such purity by Lindform. The Swedish design company’s inspiration is firmly rooted in the natural world, with organic shapes and colours influencing every one of their pieces.
Ceramic is Lindform’s signature medium and it’s used to craft vases of deceptive simplicity that complement a room, but still demand attention. The material is manipulated into curvaceous forms that are sometimes symmetrical, sometimes not, in reflection of the leaves, seeds and wood that inform them. Nordic style is underpinned by Japanese ideas and there are clear throwbacks to functional ancient pottery and classical art, too.
The Lindform palette is sophisticated in its restraint – shades of stone, sand and bark abound, punctuated by inky blacks and rusty reds. Smooth surfaces are freckled with contrasting speckles, while ribbed textures with powdery finishes are as touchable as a wave-washed pebble.

Lindform
Having started on a modest scale in 2007, Lindform remains a family-run business that holds craftsmanship and sustainability in high esteem. Each Swedish-designed piece is handmade in Thailand or Portugal using lead-free clay – a process that means every piece is unique.
