Vacuum rug regularly.
Rotate rug occasionally for even ware from strong sunlight.
In the case of small stains and spills, carefully blot with paper towels or a white cloth. Then moisten stain with warm (not hot) water and continue to blot. Press firmly with paper towels or a white cloth to remove moisture. Work from the outside in, so as not to spread the stain. Once completely dry, vacuum (without any brush attachment).
For more severe stains and spillages or general all over cleaning, specialist rug cleaning is recommended.

Production time 8 - 12 weeks

WHO IT'S MADE BY

Knots Rugs

Where an artistic aesthetic meets natural fibres and ethical working practices, you’ll find Knots Rugs. The London-based company has been family-run since its establishment in 2007 and holds quality and originality, along with longevity and sustainability, at its heart. For an exceptional made to measure floor covering that will last through the generations, turn to Knots Rugs.

When you invest in a piece from Knots Rugs, there are three key things to appreciate. First, each is a work of art in its own right. Second, these are floor coverings that are handmade with natural fibres and painstaking craftsmanship, so they’ll go the distance. And third, ethical practices and sustainability have been prioritised at every stage of the process.

Design innovation is central to the Knots approach, which results in unique and surprising textures that are decorative as well as tactile. Thanks to abstract patterns executed in subtle colours that bring the natural world to mind, every rug in the collection is a statement-maker.

The company’s dedication to artistry is firmly underpinned by a commitment to the environment and the Indian and Nepalese workers who produce the rugs. Renewable fibres including hypoallergenic yak wool, hemp and nettle are chosen for their durability. The manufacturing process is traditional, so shuns synthetic materials, acids and chemicals in favour of gentle alternatives. Knots Rugs is proud to be allied with fair-trade organisation Label STEP. This means it supports appropriate pay and good working conditions for the crafters who hand-knot these remarkable designs with meticulous skill.

If you’d like particular colours and materials to suit your room, custom options are available. Just get in contact and we can discuss your needs.
